Myllypuro – A district of sports and welfare services

Located in eastern Helsinki by the metro line, Myllypuro is known for its excellent sports facilities. A host of new houses, including an urban village built of wood, will be constructed in the area.

The popular indoor sports hall, Liikuntamylly is situated near Myllypuro metro station. Arena Center, one of the biggest floorball centres in Scandinavia, is also located near the area. An expansive park for recreation with indoor tennis courts and football pitches, an ice hockey hall and much recreational area can be found in the south of the district.

New residences will be built in the centre as well as in the southern and eastern parts of the district. The urban village of wooden buildings will be located in the southern part.
